New Year New Hair Journey!!

Welcome to 2015!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am so excited to have made it through 2014 and I am ready for what's to come in 2015! As I mentioned in my last post there will be lots of changes to my hair journey in 2015.

I was not the best with keeping on point with my hair journey last year. I was slacking in a lot of areas and just was being plain lazy! My hair could have grown so much more if I had just done what I needed to do. But hey that is life and it in the past now, and I must make better hair decision this year. Enough on the shoulda, coulda and woulda's lol! So here is picture on my hair when I relaxed on June 15,2014 before and after my trim.
And here is my hair as of as of December 31,2014 at six months post!

While I haven't gain much length, I do notice that my hair is fuller right at the top of my bra strap compare to the last pictures. So what are my goals for 2015 you say? Well let me break it down for you, lol.

 2015 Goals

  • Stretch til June 2015 making my hair 1 year post
  • Take care and protect my end to maintain length retention
  • No heat for 2015 (one heat pass for my relaxer)
  •  Wear more protective style that protect my ends
So those are my goals short and simple, just as my journey has always been. I find when you get to complicated with your expectations, things never turn out quite right!  So just keep it Simple.

What are your hair goals for 2015? Leave a comment or a link to your post below! Again HAPPY NEW YEAR and Lets get to growing hair in 2015!

Talk to y'all later

  2. Happy New Year to you. Your hair and blog is so beautiful. Also love the bathroom makeover. How do you reduce shedding during your long stretches? How often do you trim/cut your hair?

    1. Thank you Carrie! I actually don't really do anything to reduce my shedding, I just let it be. Maybe this year I will check into it. I trim my hair I say 2 times a year and an actual cut no a lot, the last time I cut my hair was in 2012.
