Wash Day Wig Ready!

Hello all so I washed my hair this week and then braided it up so I could wear my wig ! I'm super excited and nervous at the same time, lol! So I washed my hair with Aphogee products to help restore some of the damage from my relaxer, and I used Creme of Nature Argan Oil leave-in.
I didn't use my usual leave-in because I was in Atlanta at my cousins house, so I used some of her products.

Then I went to my other cousins house and she braided my hair up for me. I did leave my edges out.

I then used her Conair Infiniti curling wand to put curls in the hair!

Here are the waves after a couple of hours!

  1. ooh, she braided it really good, i hate it when a wig sits too high or has lumpy braids underneath. Love aphogee products.

    1. Thanks, yes she did a great job!. I also love the aphogee products, I might start back using them for a while, to get my hair back healthier after my cut.

  2. Your wig is really beautiful and the curls are great! When I saw the kinky wig I didn't think that it could be flat ironed and curled to a point that the kinks were not too much, this will definitely be my next wig purchase, I love how thick it is!

  4. Girl---you got me wanting to run out and get a wig! I especially love the care and thought that you put into moisturizing and protecting your hair BEFORE your install!

How long do you plan on keeping it in?

    Thanks for sharing your #washdayexperience!

    1. Hey girl welcome, back I was going to send the search party out for you, lol!
Lol, girl get you one. I love this one it just what I was looking for and perfect. Yes I have to make sure I take care of my hair first. I going to keep it in until around the 25th of this month, then wash my hair and get it braid back up with about a week break in between. I want to keep my real hair tuck away until my next relaxer, and try to get my 4 inches back I cut off.
