Wash Day Featuring Pantene

Hey Ladies, so I am back with a wash day post! This weekend I am washing my hair with a new shampoo and conditioner that I was sent  to review. I received the product from Influenster. I need to include that I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I am receiving no compensation for my opinions on the products that I will be sharing.

What is an Influenster? Community of trendsetters invited to share their lifestyles and show their influence to qualify for personalized product shipments, special rewards and exclusive deals from the brands they love. Members love testing the latest products, giving insightful feedback, and spreading the word on their favorite finds!

So on to the wash day the product I used was the Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal 2-IN-1 Shampoo and Conditioner.  It is suppose to gently cleanse and provide all day moisture in 1 step.

I washed my as usual using my Hair Regimen you can find here

After washing my hair I used the t-shirt method to  dry my hair to about 80 percent and applied my Cantu Leave-in.

I let my hair dry over night and then created two french braid and bobby pin the hair into a bun.

As a initial review I didn't like the 2-IN-1 Shampoo and conditioner. I found the next morning that my hair was super dry even after applying my leave-in. My hair is not normally that dry when air-drying. It tangled more then usual and was hard to comb at 2 month post I should not be having these types of problems. In the past I have used the Pantene Relaxed and Natural as one of my staple products and didn't have these issues.

Have you ever tried Pantene products? What are you thoughts? Leave a comment below.

  1. I stopped using Pantene years ago because it would dry out my hair and cause it to tangle. I even had that issue with the relaxed and natural line though to a lesser extent.

  2. I think that in general I prefer to use shampoo and conditioner separately. I feel like when they are combined neither do as good of a job as they are supposed to! My hair doesn't feel as clean or conditioned. Thanks for the honest review!

  4. I love their deep conditioner for natural hair, and that's about it. I'm not shocked at all that it left your hair feeling that way!
